AFFANDI
Born in Cirebon, Indonesia in 1907, Affandi died in Jakarta in 1990. In the 1950's, Affandi traveled and exhibited his paintings in India, the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States. Known for his distinct expressionist style, Affandi is considered the leading 20th century artist of Indonesia.
